Hypothesized item-total correlations (ρ ≥ 0.4) were observed for all items. Convergent construct validity was supported by the presence of hypothesized moderate to strong correlations between the OKS and SF-6D physical functioning, role limitation, social functioning and pain, EQ-5D mobility, self-care, usual activities, and pain/discomfort, and mobility visual analogue scale (ρ = 0.47–0.82). Discriminant construct validity was not satisfactory. The OKS correlated weakly with SF-6D vitality (ρ = 0.35), but strongly with SF-6D mental health and EQ-5D anxiety/depression (ρ = 0.51 and 0.41, respectively). Conclusion:  The OKS has demonstrated good psychometric properties and thus can be considered a reliable and valid measurement for outpatients with OA.]]> Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:56:21 AEDT ]]> Psychometric evaluation of the Schizophrenia Quality of Life Scale (SQLS) in English- and Chinese-speaking Asians in Singapore https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:5443 0.4, Cronbach’s alpha and intra-class correlation coefficient values were close to or exceed 0.7, and Cohen’s effect size, standardized response mean, and Guyatt’s responsiveness index values approximated or exceeded 0.2 for both SQLS language versions; however, for the energy/motivation scale, item-to-scale correlations (range: 0.08–0.51), reliability (range: 0.46–0.66) and responsiveness (range: 0.04–0.08) statistics were not satisfactory for both SQLS versions. Conclusions: The SQLS psychosocial and symptoms/side effects scales are valid, reliable and responsive in Singaporean patients with schizophrenia; the appropriateness of energy/motivation scale requires further investigation.]]> Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:48:10 AEDT ]]> A study on indirect and intangible costs for patients with knee osteoarthritis in Singapore https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:5182 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:47:49 AEDT ]]> Validation of Chinese Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) in patients scheduled for total knee replacement https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:5185 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:47:49 AEDT ]]> Validity, feasibility and acceptability of time trade-off and standard gamble assessments in health valuation studies: A study in a multiethnic Asian population in Singapore https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:5336 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:45:55 AEDT ]]> Applying the expectancy-value model to understand health values https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:5027 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:44:09 AEDT ]]> An exploratory study of response shift in health-related quality of life and utility assessment among patients with osteoarthritis undergoing total knee replacement surgery in a tertiary hospital in Singapore https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:23573 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:12:46 AEDT ]]>
